These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Phone Tree Scout ("Scout," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Phone Tree Scout is an open-source platform that automatically calls organizations' publicly listed phone numbers, maps their interactive voice response (IVR) phone tree menus using artificial intelligence, and delivers structured phone tree maps via API. Scout is designed to help anyone skip the frustration of navigating automated phone menus.
To use Scout's paid features, you must purchase a credit pack through our payment processor (Stripe). You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the entity you represent to these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your API key secure and for all activity made using it.
You agree to use Scout only for lawful purposes. You may not:
Scout is intended to call publicly listed main phone lines of organizations. You are solely responsible for ensuring the phone numbers you provide are appropriate for automated calling.
Scout operates on a credits system. Credits are purchased in packs at the prices displayed at the time of purchase. Payment is processed through Stripe. Credits are non-refundable and do not expire. One credit is deducted for each successfully completed IVR map.
We reserve the right to change credit pack pricing with 30 days' written notice.
In the course of providing the service, Scout collects call data including call timestamps, call durations, IVR transcripts, phone tree structures, and call outcomes (e.g., IVR mapped, office closed, voicemail). This data is used to provide and improve the service.
We may aggregate and anonymize call data to generate insights about phone system trends, call patterns, and organizational accessibility. Aggregated data will not identify you or any specific organization you have mapped. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
Phone Tree Scout is open-source software. The phone tree maps generated by Scout are provided for your use. You retain ownership of any data you provide to Scout (organization names, phone numbers, etc.).
Scout is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of phone tree maps generated by the service. AI-generated transcriptions and analyses may contain errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phone Tree Scout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Phone Tree Scout and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Scout at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify active users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Scout after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
